The wife first noticed it. The glowing eyes, the gnashing of teeth, movement through the prarie grass. First one, then two, then more. So far atleast 5 of them have surrounded us. They're just lying there, patiently waiting...for...what? Are there more? Have they noticed us?

So far, we've seen atleast 3 of them with antlers. All seem to be juvenials(sp?).

Ah, the country life. Gotta love it. The deer are moving earlier in the day now, so seems their taking a nap at the north end of our house right now.
