I like this board and I'm getting used to it, but the old board archives had a ton of great information that would be a shame to lose.

Long before the old board died there was talk about it closeing because lack of money. I think they just killed it.

The old board was so slow I had about quit going there. In fact, half the time I couldn't go there if I wanted to.

I do not mind this board.  I just hope Ed gets rid of the 1111 port so I can access from work.

That is what I am starting to believe too.  They should just come out and say it.
It seems odd to me that the topics can be accessed and not the menus (not sure if this is true anymore). Probably took about 2 or 3 clicks.

But for the price..... never mind that thought - about 1000+ others seem to be doing okay.  Other places that attract a lot of users to their site don't try to shake them off like fleas - they make $.

User fees would work just as good as eliminating the board entirely.  Well over half would not pay and those that might pay would not find the expense worthwhile with the others gone -especially with all the alternatives that are available.

Personally I think the purchase of a Tin Foil Hat should be mandatory here with the proceeds going to Ed.

In no time he'd have enough moohla for a brand new mirrored 8 way gazillion hertz processor web server with a terabyte of storage to bring ar15.com back up.

Congratulations Striker. Your scenario sounds more believable than some that I've seen so far.

Hey Striker they must be sharing that info with the Canadian authorities because every time I entered Canada on business, immigration took me to a little room and interviewed me for 15 minutes.

My business associates always thought they'd never see me again!

I don't have any problems using Nutscrape Communicator 4.76.
