| ...to kill off an six pack on your own, by yourself? |
How about 2 1/2 in a day

Depends. Are you home alone on a Tuesday morning in February watching cartoons on the couch? Or are you working out in the yard on a 92 degree August afternoon? In between those two extremes are a myriad of gray circumstances where the rightness and wrongness must be individually assessed. Extingent circumstances & context. They mean everything. They are why lawyers make big bucks. |
Right on. I'll go grab one from the fridge and drink it with you Motown, if that wouldn't be beneath your standards for drinking company? [ETA]: Oh well. Should've looked at the OP post time. Too bad, a beer sounded pretty good right about now. |

every answer I have read on this thread is fucking stupid Except this one.

something to be proud of ![]() we just buried my cousin, he died after multiple warning from his doctor to quit drinking. he never did |
It could be if you do it on a regular basis. Once or twice a month, no. I did it three or four times a week fifteen years ago. Ten years ago, I quit drinking altogether. Alcoholism is a bad thing, and it could be a sign. |
Kill joy.. |
If you do it three or more times a week when you are alone, you probably have a problem. It is not a good thing. |
One of my best friends is a 10 yrs. sober alcoholic, and a councellor at a rehab facility. This is *precisely* how "they" define alcoholism. He wishes dearly he were the type that could enjoy a "responsible buzz" now and again, but recognizes that he cannot. You are just fine, Motown! ![]() |
