I heard this damn song on the radio, couldn't get it out of my head for some reason so I downloaded it. Been listening to it the last few minutes.

What in the hell are the talking about?

There was a movement in the 80s to give significant portions of Australia back to the aborigines.

They already are paid a full welfare salary which enables them to sit around and do nothing.

I was living in Australia back then. There was a big movement to give back huge tracks of land to the Abbo's. They were getting holy tribal land back ... the Australians were saying the easiest way to find holy tribal land was to look for the oil fields. In the Perth area they were claiming that the west coast's largest beer factory was on holy land and they wanted it. Like Jessie Jackson's crowd here they were well organized and gathered lots of public attention as their weapon. Work was permitted on holy land to drill oil - as long as you hire 40 natives who get paid without working. You had to hire a second crew to actually work the oil rigs. It made everything difficult and expensive.

Australia was a very socialist country back then, I hope it's gotten better.
