| Is it down for everyone? |

An easier questions to answer is "Is e-forms ever up?" No. It isn't. My first form 1 took 3 days of trying to finally submit. It's been 30 days since I submitted it. Hurry the fuck up ETA spelling More down than up I think. Wouldn't be surprised if 0 found out about eForms and how well it was working and directed BATFE to sloe 'er down a bit. |

Hope you're patient. If not, you're about to be.

Finally came up long enough for me to complete my very first eForm for my wife's SBR. Hope you're patient. If not, you're about to be.
LOL...oh I am...I submitted a paper form 1 in August for my SBR, so patience I can do... |

That dang accordian style form selection dialog is driving me babnanas! Do you click or double click the form you want to make it work? Right now I've tried both. The damn thing gives no indication it's doing anything and then just stops. There's a wonderful picture guide on the Class 3 forum on how to e-file. Did you look there? I followed it step-by-step and it was perfect. Well, except for the website blowing major ass. Man, the government is great at doing stuff, and things.

just got this when I tried to login eForms Outage Due to daily maintenance, the e-Forms system is temporarily unavailable. We apologize for any inconvenience and thank you in advance for your cooperation and patience. Yep. But it's not "daily" maintenance, it's "multiple times daily" maintenance. They sent out an email explaining this a few weeks ago. If that was a commercial site it would be a laughing stock. Since it's a .gov site everyone just shrugs and goes on. Pathetic. |
| It took me an entire day to get one Form 4 entered. And I had to log on the following day to get a copy of it. On Jan 28th, it crashed while I was submitting a Form 4, I got confirmation of payment but the server crashed and lost the form. They have yet to refund my $200 in spite of numerous emails and "we're working on it". I swear I have used BBS systems in the 80's running on Commodore 64's attached to a 300 baud acoustic modem that were faster and more efficient. A high school kid could design a more functional website in an afternoon. They re-boot a minimum of 4 times a day, but it's far more frequently than that. The only reason I put up with it is so that I can give my customers the best possible service. |
