Anybody else seen this yet?

Appears to be two Iraqis going at it in a vehicle while a sniper is covertly watching them through his scope. Looks like a video link from a scope camera.

Saw it somewhere and can't find it now.

I think it was originally titled "Shoot? No shoot?"

Somebody post it if you have it.

A good sniper oughta be able to crease somebodies butt at the top of an upstroke if he was a nasty joker kind of guy

Yeah we've seen it and it's not a recording from a sniper's scope.  It's recorded through a helicopter's FLIR.

Hey, my bad. Only got a glimpse of it once for just a second.

Appeared to be a crosshair reticle on what I thought I remembered.

Damn alzheimers ... sorry for the trouble.

Somebody got a link?

Actually Hendsolt (sp?) made a scope and adaptor for the HK PSG1 that took a pic the moment the sniper pulled the trigger, so the rifleman could see if he flinched or moved during firing.

But I doubt that was what was used in this case.

Do you think if it had been "Rags" that the woman would have been on top in a position of superiority over the man?

Actually thanks to digital cameras, a few scopes are out that do this today in the consumer market.  They use a buffer, and when the force of the shot is sensed in the scope, it records the picture from the continious buffer that was taken a few milisecons prior.  So you can see you exact POA when you fired.  Supposedly to help with skill training, but it sounds like just another cool toy to me.  I'm sure FLIR or NV versions will be out soon.

Brian ain't no "new guy".

But he is in contact with operators in Iraq.  Lots of them.

And since the Iraqis are trying to kill them, and setting mines and blowing their friends up and killing good American military men, the guys over there use that term.

Brian meant no insult to anyone on this board.

It's just kind of hard to be so poltically correct when good men are dieing at the hands of those scum.

We are at war, gentleman.  There will be plenty of time for political correctness when our troops are home again.

I believe  Nikon scopes a few years back had a feature that you could video tape through the scope.

This should be the link. IIRC, this is video from OH-58 FLIRs at JRTC at Fort Polk.

Thanks for the link and clarification men.

Only saw a smaller screened version once, briefly and with no sound. My mistake. Link cleared it up.

FYI - Video cameras that interface with rifle scopes have been around a good while. Thought that was what it was.

Sorry for the trouble mods/members.

Thank you.

A decent person would at least wait until the guy got a nut off
before dropping the hammer. Who could begrudge him his last piece?
As for the girl, she wasn't going to get off anyway...

Gee, I never got the memo that made it taboo to refere to midle eastern terrorists as 'Rag heads'??
I had no idea we had become so 'PC', you sure as hell can't say the same when the 'illegal alien' threads degenerate and there is no distinction made between those who are here legally and 'wet backs' or 'azatlantans' or what ever the fuck slur of the day is.

Can we get a little consistency on this board??

There's a big difference between taking a snapshot and making a FLIR recording lasting several minutes like you'd need a video camera for .

see this is precisely the problem the internet. if you dont fucking know the orgin of something, dont make up something that sounds cool. nothing indicates its iraq, nothing indicates its a sniper and if you listen to the audio its clear that its an aircrew, but you seem to think it would be cool to say its a sniper in iraq. and now you look like a dumbass....well played.
why dont you go mis-label some songs on kazaa or make up cool iraq war stories about 10yr old military pictures.

Like I said . . .

I saw it once, on a small screen with no audio.

I said it appeared to be a set of crosshairs and what appeared to be a shemah ... turned out to be a ponytail.

I politely asked for a link and described only what it appeared to be initially.

Furthermore, it was actually labeled Iraqi something or other and shoot, no shoot when I saw it first.

Actually got my answer before the sarcasm Devldog but hey ... thanks for your opinion.
