Hey guys I am looking for a little help please. My combination department is hiring again and I am applying. I did a volunteer process 4 years ago with them but it was not very tough. I applied once before for a career position but did not make it (I did however score #1 on the written). I feel my oral board was a little weak and the chief felt I should stay in school. I have all of my ducks in a row now for this one. The one question that stood out to me last time was "Suppression, Prevention and Public Education, rank them in order of importance in the Fire Service and explain your reasoning". I answered education, prevention, and suppression citing that education could save lives any where followed by helping to prevent fires in the first place and lastly responding to them only has limited effect. How would y'all rank them? Any other tips? I feel this board is tough because I already know them all and can't come in making a new impression, basically there minds are already made up.
