I have WildBlue satellite, because where I live it's the only type of access available besides dial up. I've seen several commercials for www.mycricket.com/broadband , and my question is will the cricket work as an effective replacement for WildBlue?

Wireless broadband is like a cell phone, works great if you're getting good signal, but sucks ass when not in range of a signal tower. IMO would work ok if you're in a populated area with good cell reception, but not if you're out in the sticks.

We're in a valley, and sometimes have to go outside to get cell reception.
Another potion out the window.

Thank you for the info.
