it's a seperate branch of servers supposedly for educational purposes only. It's really speedy.

the idea is to provide a network with high bandwidth and low latency, then see what sorts of new apps can be written that exploit this.

Not really Internet 2, but my buddy registered a .geek TLD and only used IPv6. Only the elite among us can visit his site.

I thought it was cool, anyway.
