Tired of using Behr and getting so-so results. 1. Benjamin Moore 2. Pittsburgh 3. Sherman Williams Interior Latex in a semi gloss finish. What sez you? |
I've used it on my ceilings and was happy, just wanted to see what others thought, thanks.

OK, first off, I have used tons of Behr paint and while their lighter colors are fine, the darker colors suck at covering, are runny, and just plain hit or miss in quality over the years. I have used the Ralph Lauren paint with good results but it is not exactly inexpensive. The ONLY Glidden product I will use is the Gripper primer. The paint is like water. (at least the stuff from Lowes or HD). I will be going with Benjamin Moore for 2 reasons. First is I have nothing but good things to say about how it covered on my ceilings and second, it is on sale for 1/3 off whih puts it at $21 a gallon. Damn good price. |
| I have always had good results w/Behr premium. I have used it for years in and out and like it alot. I have never had a problem with coverage or it being to runny. In fact what sold me was a few years when hurricane jeanne came thru, it destroyed my house. When I walked thru the first time after the storm I looked at my bay window, and above it hanging down was a bubble in the paint that was full of rain water that easily held twenty gallons of water. It was about 2 ft by 3 ft and hung down about two feet. I figure there was 150 pounds of water in that bag |
