I was cleaning my can and I just got a new camera, so I thought I'd take a pic for you curious people out there. This is what the guts of a real life suppressor looks like.

Nope, but there are enough clues in the two pics for you to figure it out.

I have read about suppressor theory and studied diagrams and it still seemed a little vague.

Your picture makes it all so clear and simple.

Thanks!

SWD M11/9mm

I'd take another pic, but I've been taking pictures of everything for the last two days and my batteries died right after the form 4 [:(]

No, it's 3/4x10 tpi if I remember correctly. I've got an adapter for 1/2x28 on it's way from Socom Mfg that should be here Monday. I wanted to see how well this gigantic can would work on a 10/22 [:)]

I wonder if a knowledgeable person could tell us if it is permitted, by our most benevolent government which granteth us rights, to possess a set of .223 internals for a 9mm suppressor.  I know that you would need the second body to be legal, as the wipes are treated as a suppressor themselves.  I am also aware that the muzzle of the suppressor would not have the correct size hole.  Can the factory change the internals to a new caliber without resubmitting the forms?

If it works on a 10/22, I'd slap it on a preban AR and try the Ceiner conversion out.

Why shoot, any decent Tool & Die maker or Machinst can make one of those.

It would be illegal to have an extra set of internals for your suppressor. The manufacturer could switch them and an addendum would need to be sent to the BATF to denote the caliber change.

With the adapter it will be mountable to an AR, but it could only be used with .22LR only as the pressure of a .223 round would probably "disassemble" it. It will also be kind of bulky mounted on either the 10/22 or an AR as it is almost a foot long.

I've got something a little more practical on the way right now.

Yo, Ponyboy.  What gun do you use for this CAC
9mm?  Is it threaded?  Thanks

Mojo, it's for a SWD M11/9mm submachinegun. Both the barrel of the gun and the suppressor are threaded.
