Notes to self:

1. Get out the Turtle wax
2. Sharpen the lawnmower blade
3. Make trip to liquor store
4. Keep a really close eye on the WM
5. Don't go commando for initiation.

Let us know if you need any help getting a good goat.  We've got a drought here in Texas and I hear the ranchers are selling them off cheap.

I've got a buddy that has some goats. Would it be worth getting some practice before hand?

Nah, these guys in here told me not to prepare and to go at it with an open mind and boy were they right.

I just hope they don't show up with a  pygmy goat, I'm a big guy and It might not go over to good for the goat.  All kidding aside, I'm really excited to get my degrees under way.

he thinks he's gonna be riding the goat........

It's the other way  around  bubba

LOL .  I guess that's the difference, the MM rides the goat.  The EA is ridden by the goat.  I knew there was something I was missing.

So, how did it go?
9/6/2011 8:37:57 PM EDT

Went great. The goat was surprisingly gentle. It was strange being the center of attention the whole night. These guys put in lots of work for me. It was the experience of a lifetime.  I'm sitting here going over the night in my head. What a huge amount on information.

Now you realize why they are selective of who they let in. It takes hours of work by many men to do a degree. Congratulations, Brother Girth.

I can't remember the exact figure, but theres something like 5500 words in the 1st degree charge. I am in PA, so yours may vary.

It really is the experience of a lifetime.  The only regret is that you only get to do it once.  I have really enjoyed taking part in about four or five EA degrees since I was raised last year and getting to kind of live vicariously thru the new candidates as they experience the degree.
Congratulations, new Brother.

You haven't seen anything yet.

Look up the word allegory. Think long and hard about its meaning. Everything will be come clear as mud in short order.
