A new computer. I see Dell has some so called freebees, very, very tempting!

My question is, most of my computing is surfin and games. Dell has a free upgrade to a flat panel monitor, however, I hear flat panel monitors are not good for gaming, should I skip it?  Or, maybe I should take it anyway being that it's a free upgrade, and use my current 17" monitor for gaming?

This offer end Wednesday.....

Use your old monitor and send the new, flat one to me.

Get the upgrade and keep your current monitor. Then add another video card and use two monitors. Games on one side, surfing on the other!
