treated so well by every one I met!  Every person, all races, to a fault said good morning with a smile and honestly it was a more friendly day than I have had in a long time!

I have noticed that.

It is a very friendly place.

I lived there for a couple of years.  Very friendly folks.  Extremely slow pace of life there, but everyone's nice as they can be.

Yup. They're damn good people down there. If they could only fix their heat problem, I'd be living there full time.

I have the same thought about the south. I went to highschool in Greenville,SC.

The nicest people, generally. I remember getting waves driving down the road... the "jeep" wave.

Since, moved to the west coast... Not even close. Most people are in such a big hurry. Angry drivers...

Love SC. Parents are up in cherry grove and it's always a treat getting down there. I'd like to make the move permanent one day.

Wife and I moved to SC in 2011 from DFW.  I was sure I would die in TX but once we got settled in here I decided that I didn't want to go back.

Umm, heater is working fine? Been plenty warm past couple of weeks.  Shoot, heater works so well, I ride my Harley year round!

You got room in your back yard for a tent? And space in your garage for another bike?

My dad has traveled a lot.  He tells me that SC was the most polite, friendliest state he ever visited.

I moved to the Greenville area in '98 from Jax, FL.  One of the first weird things I noticed was that people smiled and made eye contact and waved at me even though they've never seen me.  Still pretty much true for the most part.  And the way the people of Charleston seem to be handling the travesty that happened in that church a couple weeks ago speaks volumes for the people of this great state.  I love SC.

Did you get a chance to eat at Maurice's Piggie Park?

And their gun laws could be a lot worse... I'd consider moving there if the opportunity presented itself.
