In light of Photobucket charging for third party linking, I respectfully request ARFCOM consider raising the 3mb limit on uploaded images to a larger size.
Any increase in permissible uploaded image size would make it easier for ARFCOM members to upload images here and not have to search for an alternative to Photobucket.

Thank You

I have my phone set to take the smallest resolution and still occasionally get errors that the file size is too big when uploading here. I use imugr when that happens.

I just did a test post from photobucket in the test forum and it worked. Selected the direct url.

While that is indeed very good news for you, it is an issue unfortunately affecting a great number of longtime photobucket users.

Stickies, older threads, and other great and informative posts that were accompanied by photos hosted by photobucket are now gone, or at least the photos are. In order to return these photos for 3rd party viewing (ie, on here) you must upgrade to a premium package. This is hundreds of dollars a month.

I also would urge site staff to bite the bullet and use our annual membership fees to increase the limit on photos uploaded directly to AR15.com.
