what position do they need to be in?
|
|
Left lateral recumbent, basically laying on left side, right leg a little forward of left leg, right arm to the front and mouth tilted slightly downward

Fpni, but I'd say probably propped up in their side temporarily so they don't choke on vomit as long as there is no other injuries.

Missionary?
Seriously though turn them on their side so they don't aspirate on their vomit... And maybe get them some medical help? |

I doubt it, thats just the way it's taught and always stuck with me. Plus it aims the vomit away from the captains seat in the ambulance View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes |

a dire physical condition and or situation. So you’re next step call 911. Then an estate attorney. Hope this is a hypothetical example or situation? |

If she hit her head you need to go to the hospital and not let her sleep.

Overindulgence in adult beverage? Either way he's gonna get dehydrated quickly. Stay on top of it. A shot of antiemetic and some electrolytes might be in order. |

If people are going in and out of consciousness that's a serious enough stomach bug to warrant a ER visit IMHO. That's ignoring the head bump that was mentioned

Sounds like food poisoning and accompanying dehydration.
If she can't start taking fluids orally, she need to get to the hospital for an IV. Dehydration is nothing to mess with. Salmonella is nothing to mess with. |

I just talked to her and she said she 100% doesn't need to go to the hospital and feels slightly better. I'll make sure she keeps drinking water. She hasn't thrown up for 3 hours now, but has frequented the potty. View Quote Day 2 we forced her to go. She was in hospital for a week. Reflex Syncope? - possibly vasovagal?
Worth getting checked out to make sure it is nothing more serious underlying if you are not aware of any underling illness. Hope she's OK. Can feel groggy for a few hours afterwards. |

Dude. My wife or anyone around me starts puking and losing consciousness, their ass might as well get ready. We are headed to the ER. Not negotiable.
