What are my options other than Barrett ?

Barrett, Barrett, and well Barrett...

Serbu is making one right now, IIRC, and there's another company designing one off tha AR action...

But right now there really aren't many .50 semis... Given that you can't rapidfire the thing anyway, the market generally fits bolt guns pretty well....

I can't buy a Barrett in this state, I was hoping there are other options .
I have looked at bolt guns and probably will get the Barrett  M99 also
but really right now looking for a semi.

That is not entirely true... I think.

Barrett made their usual semi-50 with a slightly different model designation, an extra letter or something.  As I understand it, those are legal.  Good luck finding one though... I saw one and only one before.

I can't provide proof, but I swear I've seen one.

I think they are military designations... but there are a bunch on the civilian market.

This is the limited production commemorative run they did , but the price on these are more for collectors not shooters. I 'm looking for a shooter.

Nah, just going off what the link said. I should have stated, though, that testing is slated to be done by the end of '06. I'd imagine that release for sales will come soon after (maybe spring '07?).

no, you're not... plus, there are some M107s on the market that are completely legal in CT...
