Probably should have posted this in the m1/m1a section, but no one over there has a pulse lately, except swampy, and he's digging through old microfilm all the time, so he's outta the loop.  

i wanna post pix of my new .22 single shot when it gets in.  i ordered an m12, and was thinking of not bothering to put irons on it, even though it's a target rifle... the gun's got scope mounting blocks, and my eyes are pretty old, so what's wrong with putting a 4x leupold on it?

well, what kind of fixed power would you recommend?  i've got a leupy 4x stashed in the safe i got a real good deal on at the gun show...
