I shot a rifle for the secont time in my life today. It was with my brother and one of his friends out in Monroe, Wa. We had my brother's AR-15 and his friend's Savage. We went through 120 rounds of .223 and 300 .22 rounds. I want an AR-15 so bad, no, I need an AR-15. His AR is a pre-ban which is out of my reach because today at Wade's Gun Shop most of them were priced around 1800 to 2000 which is a lot considering a post-ban is only 800 or so. When I have the money and when I am old enough I am going to get one, probably a Bushmaster along with 20 or so mags. And then, then my collection will grow.

Where in Monroe were you shooting? I've been trying to find a good spot to shoot my AR. Also, check out Kesselring's gun shop in Burlington. They are MUCH cheaper than Wade's. My AR (LEO) was over a hundred dollars cheaper at Kesselring's than at Wade's.

Save up 400 dollars. Buy a Beta C mag. Go to the equiptment exchange and seel it to the guy who wants it so bad he's offering 700 bucks for one. Now another 1,100 and you there.

get a couple USGI 30's or 20's and then get a pre or post ban bushy.

I agree, buy mags. But first pay a visit to Troy's magazine forum...all mags are not created equal, as I learned from there. Print it out, take it with you for ready referance. You are now addicted! [:P]

Hell buy or rifle part at a time and put it together your self just dont get the lower tell last when your of age to have it good look to ya young man.
