I am now addicted after one match!

I see many practical benefits, especially for someone with a concealed carry liscence.

Out of about 15 shooters I was the second slowest, but third most accurate.  I was mainly concentrating on being safe as I havent drawn and shot from concealment much or shot on the move often.

I cannot believe how quick and deadly accurate the older beer gut shooters were.

One old guy I shoot IPSC with was an olympic shooter way  back when.  I would have never believed a guy 70+ could shoot like that

ETA: congrats on your first match. Never shot IDPA cause IPSC is the only one around these parts.  I am aware  of the basic similarites however. Lots of fun
