Ok, I know ARFCOM has some pretty smart computer guys so I hope you can help with my problem.
First, I am NOT very savvy when it comes to these issues so please be as basic as possible.
I have a Toshiba netbook model # NB205 running windows 7 home premium. When I first got it it had the windows 7 starter crap but a friend had a "key" which unlocked the software giving me the home premium. It works fine except for the two issues I am about to describe. First, when I leave the computer on and it "goes to sleep" when I then touch the mouse pad to wake it up it turns on then off then on again and gives me an error message that reads something like this..... "Display driver stopped responding and has recovered" that and the odd thing is it says "display driver for windows VISTA" which I don' have !! The other and MORE annoying thing is the feature which allows you to scroll up and down by dragging your finger along the right side of the mouse pad will just stop working and will only start working again if you restart the computer. This last issue has been happening more and more frequently lately. Ok, ARFCOM computer wizards, HELP !!!!!

Connect to the internet, then try Start Control Panel Device Manager Action Scan for Hardware changes - let Windows find any devices that need drivers, and then let Windows download the drivers. Good luck. |
