14 mpg in the Mustang is already starting to get old, even with no car payment since I sold my other car

I have about $1500 I was going to spend on the Mustang but I think im going to try and find a decent DD thats better on gas. Can this be done or should I just drop the soap and take it at the pumps all summer with one car?

You get 14mpg in a mustang?

Sounds like you have a strong right leg.

I just bought a 95' civic coupe. On the way to montana i got 41 mpg. Most people usually get over 35 mpg average. For my summer job i drive over 25,000 miles in 4 months so I had to get something that gets good mpg to save money. I would highly recommend an early civic. 92-95 are the ones that get the best of the 90's era. 96-2000 gets around 30 average(i had a 2000 a few years back).

You don't say what year the Mustang is, but I used to get 21-25mpg highway with a '90 5.0/5 speed.
