Is there a way to keep Quicktime from setting itself up to start on startup every time you click on a link for a video and it plays in Quicktime. I am getting sick of going into msconfig and removing it every damn time a video clip plays.

uninstall quicktime

install quicktime alternative

+1 Both Alternative players work great!

I don't know how people who rag on Microsoft can give a free pass to Quicktime.  That thing is the most obtrusive piece of crap ever foisted on the computing public.
