was lollygagging around Best Buy today and eventually wandered into the CD section. i dont have a lot of Christmas music so i decided to pick up a new one. i saw this album by a young lady that a friend told me about once and decided to give it a try. CHARLOTTE CHURCH BLEW ME AWAY! this young lady's voice is just, [RED]AMAZING!!![/RED] needless to say, im going back to the store to buy her whole collection. i love classical music and opera and from what i gathered from the internet, that is this young lady's background and training. this is my Christmas gift to myself. WHAT CHRISTMAS ALBUMS DO YOU BUMS HAVE??

I first saw her on The Letterman Show, man, for a little girl she has some pipes. She was short, kind of heavy (in an English way), very young and very charming. My wife bought a couple of her albums. We haven't seen much of her in the past year or so, we were both supprised to see how much she changed. Kind of like Lee Ann Rimes. The only one I have is "Celtic Carols." Bagpipes and violins. Very simple, very clean. I really hate the overdone Operatic/Classical orchestration type Christmas music.

Always have to listen to Bob River's Twisted Christmas albums. Nothing to get you in the spirit like "Wreck The Malls". Twisted Christmas More Twisted Christmas I Am Santa Claus

Back on topic... Vince Guaraldi's A Charlie Brown Christmas is still one of my favorites. I've also recently gotten into the Trans Siberian Orchestra.
