Stopped at the LGS after work to pick up some Butler Creek scope lense covers and walked out with this.

I've wanted one for a few years. I actually fingered one at another shop the morning of Sandy Hook. Needless to say I hadn't  seen one since that wasn't over priced. This one was bought new at the store by a regular customer. He put all the accessories on it and never fired it. He traded back in today and I bought it a couple hours later.

I'm going to turn it into an SBR with a folding stock.

Don't hate.

It might not be the most practical thing as a pistol but it will make a sweet SBR.

Something like this but sans grippod and with a smaller stock, like the old Colt CAR.

Yep.

I asked the guy at the gun shop about it and he said Delta is switching to these as their primary sidearm. Good enough for Tier 1 Operators, good enough for me.

I know people like to hate on Kel-Tec but I've had a P-11, Sub2000 and a P32 for well over a decade and they've been flawless. The few people I know that have had issues with their products said Kel-Tec quickly made it right. I've heard nothing but great things about their customer service.

I don't think I want to own one of those, but I would like to try it and I think they should make a 300blk version.

You would be AMAZED by the trigger. It seriously feels like a high end 2 stage match trigger. I don't know why Kel-Tec can't put triggers this nice in some of their other guns.

$500 with the factory mag, 3 30 round mags and about $100 worth of Kel-Tec's accessories. It came with the handguards, upgraded rear sight, single point sling and mount, thread protector and the optional muzzle brake. I took the brake off and replaced it with the A1 flash suppressor as this bitch will be loud enough as is. I'd like to get and old 3 prong flash suppressor for it.

Who makes the stock adapter?

One of the first KBs I saw posted on the Internet was one of those. I didn't hear what the cause ended up being though. Probably ammo related like most AR KBs.

The idea of rifle rounds being fired out of a Keltec scares me.. maybe it's all the screws and plastic.

Let us know if it's still working after a few thousand rounds OP.

Looks good OP!
As far as KelTec's customer service....
They are good to go! I had some issues with the slide on my P3AT and they sent me a new one along with replacement springs. I will do business with them again.

My buddy has one of those things.... and it's fucking awesome he had a custom aluminum slim handguard/forend made for it and carries that damn thing as a sidearm while hog hunting in a leather drop holster... it's a really sweet setup

Trying to decide between the folding block with something like that and a non folder with the LWRC ultra compact stock.

It is but the LWRC is super short and by the time you added the folding mechanism to a regular stock, I think it would only be about 3" shorter folded than the LWRC fully collapsed.

Yeah I had a P-11 that never quit working.  That main gripe I had was the trigger feel.  But they work.
