Zone Alarm is not the greatest firewall out there. It often has false alarms and has many open ports. Buy a real firewall. Sgtar15

What is a "real" firewall? Can anyone give a recommendation? I have cable and my Zone Alarm blocks hundreds of IP's a day. I just looked and it read 370 blocked in the last 4 minutes. How do you find the time to plug in each one to www.whois.com?

Hell, I thought ZA PRO was a real firewall. The only sites I've visited since before this started was this one and Rush Limbaugh's 24/7. I've tried different ways to look up the site and it still comes up the same. This just off their site,,,,Right "Cookie Disclaimer - DISA does not use persistent cookies (persistent tokens that pass information back and forth from the client machine to the server). Here's a couple of links you might find of use: http://www.sans.org http://www.sonicwall.com/products/index.asp I'm on dial-up and have had good luck with the Zone Alarm, so I can't comment on how it works with cable.

I went with the new Norton Anti virus with firewall. I love it. Bought it at Officemax. CAPITALIST

Just for the record, some crazyman stole my computer for the past few months and posted crazy stuff on these forums. I don't have any guns. Why would anyone except the government need guns anyway?

I know what you mean, I had to sell ALL my guns this weekend at the Austin fun show just to pay off my ticker/jump starter and installation of same Borg
