5 or 6 black helos flyin around my house. It looks like about a 10 mile arc with my house towards the outside. They are definately military and im almost certain they are Blackhawks. They are flying insanely low with NO running lights and have been doing so for about an hour. Every now and then one or two will break off and head in another direction only to regroup later.
Starting yesterday We heard a loud explosion to the south west of us going one each half hour into about 4am. We also saw some blackhawks fly over yesterday as well. There is nothing on the news or on the radio. Here they come again! This is cool but im a little wierded out right now. |

Switch to "Industrial Strength Tin Foil", trust me as I am here to help.

Last time I saw black helicopters and I pulled out the tin foil hat, it ended being that I was at a carnival and I was standing next to a kiddy ride.

It is about the right time of year for the weekend warriors to go on thier summer field problems. I have heard many people describe a standard issue dark green military helicopter as black.

[brainwashed]I have seen the light! guns are evil and they kill people and they should be banned! Bush is a moron and Kerry knows everything. Moore has never lied, Hilary is a saint and the Government knows best about everything![/brainwashed]
Actually they are black If not thats the darkest green i have ever seen. I watched them through Binoculars the other day and if that wasnt black then im color blind. Also military helos have flown over before for years but never with this kind of prequency or in such a tight circle around this area. |

Tin Foil hat, not a bad idea, but do not, I repeat do not, try the saran wrap gas mask!

|
I see them all the time. Put on your nods (NV) and they show up like a Christmas tree.
Of course, I live 3 miles from the ANG base. |
|
NC...Isn't there an exercise thingy going on in that neck of the woods? SF training or something?
|
|
All the Blackhawks I've been on were black. ....Maybe I didn't look close enough or something. I'll check my pictures.
Now to stock up on tin foil. I once drove in an ambulance too fast once too near airforce one at Andrews. The AF security stopped us at rifle point. Ever since then, I wear the tin foil to keep out their tracking systems. It works wonders. I'm thinking of wrapping my hard drive in foil now. Damn satalites. They want my collection of midget porn. |
|
Live behind an Air Cav unit myself. Hardly notice them anymore.

Nothing as of yet today. There is an old station in the north end of the county. It was a tracking station during the cold war and on up into the mid 90's until it was 'shut down' a few years ago and reopened as a space observitory. There have been many open house tours at the area and it is open to the public. Yet hunters in the area have reported seeing guards in camo with automatic weapons in certain 'abandoned' parts of the station and helos have flown in and out of that direction for years.
When I was a kid a Chinook had to make an emergency landing up in that area because of a fire onboard. They said they were practicing low altitude flying in mountainous terrain. Over the years its been not uncommon to see everything from huey's and old army Cobra's to blackhawks, Pavelow's and a few larger unidentified choppers. A few Apache's have been spotted as well. It makes sense I guess to be flying NOE in the mountainous terrain up in the national forest and around there but if they were gonna do exercises I dont think they would be flying so many helos over such populated areas at such low altitude without a damn good reason when there is plenty of better terrain elsewhere where noone on the ground would be killed if one or more of these things crashed. Im thinking more along the lines of either DEA or even NSA. |
|
They are a very dark shade of Green, same as the Apaches, and most Hueys that are still in Active Army service. I grew up around Army aviation, I spent six years living under the approch to Lowe Army Airfield, that may not make me an expert, but I can without a doubt claim to have seen a shitload of Army helicopters low enough to know if the piolts were using thier visors or wearing sunglasses (often you could tell if it was time for them to have thier boots resoled). |

You need to get to Home Depot & buy some aluminum roof flashing for additional protection.

Relax its just some helos going in and otta Bragg. They are conducting some extra readiness training as always.

Im nowhere even close to bragg or The Robinsage exercises. And this is the first time any of this has ever happend. We have always seen military helos from time to time but never like this.
Btw im in Brevard. about 20 miles south/southeast of Ashville. Im literally on the other side of the state from bragg and the Special forces candidate exercises. |

We all know you are part of the cover up – stop pushing your pathetic cover story. I think its fairly obvious what is going on here… The Rand Corporation, in conjunction with the saucer people, under the supervision of the reverse vampires, are forcing our parents to go to bed early in a fiendish plot to eliminate the meal of dinner! The helicopters play into this because they are carrying the Rand Corporations special shock troops to seize control of key mime schools in the US. |

Transylvania County? Whoops.. I noticed you said you were in Brevard. CRC |

No worries, it's probably just Haliburton Corp doing more of Cheny's dirty work...

I had a group of 3 Warthogs flying overhead yesterday...really low...It was cool.

I have an old abandoned school bus on the back of my property. DEA has apparantly put it on the books as a regular landmark and uses it for training or something because the GODDAMN BLACK HELICOPTERS FLY OVER MY HOUSE AT 150 FT EVERY GODDAMN NIGHT AT 0130!!!!!!!
I even went and cut out all the brush anywhere near it so it didn't look like I was trying to hide it. I check it DAILY to ensure no kids have started using it for growing/drying their stash. I'm gonna paint a complaint on the roof as soon as I think up something witty and have a few hrs to kill. |
|
Yep you got it dead on. And di ya know that the name has nothing at all to do with vampires? |

Update
I read the newspaper today and found out the source of the noise. Our county has a large paper mill complex not far from my home that was shut down a few years ago. According to the article US Special forces were using the plant as a training ground for 'urban operations' And the helos were part of the exercise. Considering that nothing like this has EVER happend this close to home I am very excited and wish that I had known ahead of time. |
|
I keep frozen pie crusts handy, too. In case of tin foil emergency, dump the crust and smash the foil plate down over your head. In a real emergency leave the pie crust in. |
