[ARCHIVED THREAD] - ITunes Library help

Okay,

iTunes installed on computer, has a library already installed. I've now moved the library to an external drive to save space on the laptop. How can I reset the library in iTunes? Do I just highlight everything in the library and click "delete" then re-import the files from the new location? Then recreate playlists and such? Or is there an easier way to accomplish this?

Dig in the settings. There's a place you can tell iTunes where the library is. That might work.

Otherwise, your plan will work, but will take whatever time it takes depending on how complicated your setup was.
