So I've got a problem I've never run across before- I'm wiring up my friend's house and we're consolidating all the equipment (AV receiver, cable boxes for each TV) in a central rack.  Each location with a TV will have its own cable box at the rack, and want to control whole-home audio zones at each TV location with an IR extender.  Extending HDMI is no issue, but I don't know what to do about extending IR.  At each location I need to control two devices- a unique cable box and an AV receiver.

Boiled down, at each location (5) I'd like to control two IR devices - preferable over cat 5 - a common receiver and a unique cable box.  Looked at monoprice, but couldn't find the right fit.  Ideas? (Oh, and it's a Denon receiver, which monoprice says its equipment has problems with...)
