[ARCHIVED THREAD] - ING Direct?

For years, I have been getting junk mail form ING Direct wanting me to open an account with them that pays more interest than regular accounts and they even offer a $25.00 bonus for signing up. Supposedly one can transfer electronically in and out of an account you open with them from your regular bank.

What does the hive mind think about this? Good idea? Bad? Why?

I have a savings account thru them. No complaints so far here.

Good.
Another Orange account here for years and never had any problems. Like other have said, it takes a day or so to move money in and out. No biggie though.
