German "Stutzen". High precision target rifle. Probably too big a caliber to be used indoors, hence not a "Zimmerstutzen". Serial number 1079, abbreviated as 79 on most parts, made by Waffenfabrik A Krausser, Munich, Bavaria.

Year of manufacturing I'd have to guess without seeing the actual gun, but I'd say between 1871 and 1914.

Value between $300 and $850, depending on year and condition
