Who here has a howa rifle? I have one in 375 ruger and so far am impressed. Good price, good accuracy, tough as nails stock.

If I could safely shoot 5.56 in their heavy barrel .223 I would get one in a heartbeat.
I always like the look and feel of them, just wanted one chambered in 5.56 and to date, I can't find a heavy barreled bolt gun in that caliber.

I wanted one of those Axiom(s) so bad when they came out. Oh man.

Fast fact - Smith 1500 rifle is a Howa action.

I'm interested in their 223 rifle but it's 1:12 twist. Kind of hung up on that.

Have a very nice Howa AR-180 that I love. Very accurate and durable. One of my favorite rifles to shoot ! Howa ( da Japanese) are usually sticklers to quality. My rifle is no exception. It was made with pride and quality.

ETA: Bit of a hassle finding mags but a AR15 mag conversion is fairly simple.
