Hello,
I have a recently bought Lenovo ideacentre 300s O8IHH desktop that I want to enable Windows Defender on as my main anti-virus and firewall. When I try to enable it it gives me the message "This app has been turned off and isn't monitoring your computer. If you're using another app to check for malicious or unwanted software, use Security and Maintenance to check that app's status". I think it came with the traditional Mcafee, which then expires and still tries to control everything. I'm also using WebRoot SecureAnywhere which was provided with the PC. I've searched and have been unable to find any solution that works. Any ideas? Thanks |
