Had our first child one week after second anniversary.  Had another three years later and another 3 years after that.  By the time I turned 30 I was married, the father of three and branch manager of my company.  Those were the happiest of times.  They did not last.

They never do.

None at all. We decided to have a kid and she was pregnant about a month later.

only needed one shot at it for each of my 3 kids.

About 7-8 years.

First time we had sex after she went off the pill with no condom. So I guess about 20 min. She is due January 10th.

First month we tried.
11/19/2013 12:17:21 PM EDT

How long did it take from exactly when?

Made four, lost two.  All but one were first month.  The one that wasn't was the second month.
11/19/2013 12:20:15 PM EDT
[#14]
-6 months

I mean 3 months and she skipped the whole development phase.

One 'try'. By that I mean we weren't really trying.

Haven't knocked her up yet.

One of the reasons we're doing NFP is to know the optimal time so there's hopefully none of this trying for months bullshit when we decide to go live.

she got pregnant with my first kid pretty fast. might have taken a month of trying...... second kid was the same...... the guy she cheated on me with got her pregnant pretty fast as well.

More important metric would be how closely the wedding proposal followed after...

Between a month and six months depending on which kid.

She was on the pill before we started trying.  She went off then pill and we waited for three months to start trying and she was pregnant on the first cycle.  She never went back on the pill after the first.  The second took 4 months, she was 34 then.

Wife went off BC to have our first, ended up never having a period - got pregnant in the first month.  Second took about 3 months, third was the first month again.

3 years of trying.

Not sure what you're asking, so.   8 years after we got married we tried, nailed it on the first month.  Next 3 times, 1-2 months trying each time.

married 2 years and she came off the pill.

2 months later she was pregnant.

2 months after that we had a miscarriage.

Over a year later and still not pregnant again.

Six years now with no luck. Both of us tested out better than average in the fertility department. My doctor said that I am a threat to fertile women everywhere. Her doctor said she could use her "stuff" for a textbook. IVF is the next step.

No dice yet. After 3 plus years, and it's killing her.

The swimmers are strong with this one.

If I spanked it in the back of a bus all the chicks and gay guys would be pregnant.

2 called shots here, wasn't even trying the first time, but I knew when the shot was fired it was a direct hit.

We paid cash 4 time at the infertility doctor, finally got prego, then my wife miscarried 2 weeks later. After that, we ended up adopting 2 little girls. Best decision we ever made.

It took us 9 years and a team of the highest trained medical professionals along with a healthy dose of pharmaceuticals before we had our twins. I figured after that we had the recipe down and would eventually have more.

After 3 more failed attempts our doctor told us we were not his patients anymore and to stop trying.

Statistically, 90% of healthy couples will conceive within 24 months of trying.

First month off the pill for my first, about 7-8 months of trying for my second, and a happy accident for my third.
