Probably. Afterall, George HW Bush said "nukular."

But I've not paid too much attention to it, but I've done capillary pipetting (in the old days), capillary electrophoresis (about 10 years ago - thing cost about $35K, as I recall), and worked with high endothelium in the gingival capillary loops. So... I've used the term to describe 3 different things and have always pronounced it as you do.
