My fish biology class took a weekend trip into the Gulf of Mexio, we put out a gill net to catch some specimens

2 hours later when we came back the first thing in the net was a 5ft blak tip shark!!!!

We took it back for "researh" ( got some good steaks) and i ened up with the jaws.

How do I preserve these without taking them to a taxidermist?

Not bone, sharks have no bone except for their calcified teeth, they are composed entirerly of cartilage.
