Thanks, freeride21a. It's the name the VC gave to Carlos Hathcock. I've always thought it meant white feather, I just got curious about the pronunciation.

hmm then it might just be two words that describe him...instead of a true name, ill ask my other half, she speaks/is vietnamese...will post later when i talk to her..gonna go watch meteor shower tonight out in desert! found the correct spelling of it...spelling and the marks are very important in vietnamese, just by changing the tone you can butcher it so they have no idea what you are saying Long Tr'ang though the accent might be place over the a..not sure
