When I was in Viet Nam it was very hot and I got sunburned alot. After about 6 month all the other guys were nice and brown but not me. I dodn't tan well so all I did was burn. So thats when I got the name Red Man.

When my daughter was little (2 years old?) she would want me to pick her to take her to bed etc. She wanted her Big Dozer to scoop her up! It just kinda stuck.[:)] Being 6'7",235 lbs. doesn't hurt either.

When my dad came home from Vietnam I was 10, he told us about the ARVN Rangers who tatooed "SAT CONG" on their bodies, means Kill the Cong (communist)

So it always stuck in my mind.

My nickname is Lumpy. My buddies have been calling me that for a bunch of years. I don't even remember how I got the name but it stuck like glue. I guess there are far worse things I could have been called. [;)]

In other places I go by HemiDart but at one time I need an email account so my brother created a second screenname with AO HeLL and he created MisterHemi as my family is heavily into Mopars [and Macs].

Mini because I am short, and Z from my first name(Zane) or my daughter(Zanetta).
Ask me a couple of years ago, and it would have been because of my dumbass answer "because the Mini-14 is my favorite firearm". I still have the Mini, I still like it, but I have certainly changed my outlook.

Because I ride a Honda CBR-1100 Blackbird and it seemed to fit.
I started out as Blackbird on the original AR-15.com however I changed my e-mail and forgot my password at the same time and can't log on using Blackbird so I re-registered as Blkbrd.
Anyone know how to get my original name back?
