I was hanging out at www.varminthunter.com sight, prior to 2002-3 NY Gun season, when someone wrote that they used a AR15 for YOTE hunting. Later, some one wrote about ARF.com or AR15.com, can't remember exactly, as the definitive EVIL BLACK RIFLE site for INFO -  and I ended up here.

Ironically, I was searching for a G36 (SL8) and there was one for sale in the EE.  I liked the site, so I joined.  Then I really started to come why I bought my PR and discovered the GD.

Typed in AR15 in a search engine and found the old UBB board. Didn't post for a long time after the change to the new format because of all the downtime. Just became active again a few years ago.

I browsed those forums for a while; i did not even discover GD for several weeks

I went to a local shop to check out an AR15, they had Bushmaster, Colt, and Armalite.
I asked which was the best one.
Guy said that it really didnt matter, and that all three would do their job, but if I really wanted a lot of opinions on it I should check out AR15.com....so I went home, lurked for a while, then eventually joined up.

They would talk shit about this site on gunsnet all the time. Gunsnet tried to bend me over on  fees for trying to sell 2 guns after I gave them $100 to be a "gold" member. So I told the owner to choke on my cum and came here. This place is 1,000 times better. Kinda soured me on giving money to an internet site though......

I found Arfcom via a google search at the public library (before I had a PC at home).

That was back in the day of McUzi posting pictures of his naked girlfriend.

What a DIFFERENT site it was then.......

I don't remember.
For some reason I had it in my head that Ar15.com was the place to go for info.
I didn't realize BRD had a name, I just knew I'd get it if I got here before I could afford a rifle.
Got my first one, and logged on the very same day.

I was just getting into guns, and had gotten confused about the whole gun-free school zone crap. I was flipping through some gun facts websites somewhere, and came across a link here. I posted my question in the legal forum, and got some good answers. After that, I browsed around and found GD. Somehow, I would up staying around.

Looking for info on the 6.8SPC and this site seemed to have it all, thanks to Zak!!

Then I found out how much I had been missing.  I have tried more new stuff because of this site and spent more $$$$ than I care to think of.

Who would of thought that a perfectly normal(IMHO) person with just a two years to retirement would have built a battery of firearms for ZOMBIES!
