Band of Brother is a good one. But once you start watching, you've got to watch all 6 CDs. Make sure you watch them in sequnce. I went to the local Blockbuster and all they had left was the last CD.

The new deluxe edition Black Hawk Down is a great DVD. The deleted scenes and how they made the sets and special effects are very interesting. Of course Tuesday June 3rd is the official release date, it pays to have a friend in the video business. [:D]

I just bought some cheap oldies but goodies: "The Blue Max" (George Peppard and James Mason) "The Battle of Britain" (Michael Caine, et al) "633 Squadron" (Cliff Robertson, et al) They were about $11 apiece from Amazon Now, if you truly have time on your hands, you might give these a try: The "Car 54, Where Are You" box set "My Mother the Car - the Complete 1st Season" "Green Acres - Sex and Intrigue Behind the Scenes" "Gilligan's Island - A Study in Existential Angst" [;D]

Not sure if your video store carrys it (it was an originally made TV production). It's about the Warsaw ghetto resistance. Without a doubt the best pro RKBA movie I've ever seen.

I rented The Pianist yesterday. BOR-ing! Looking forward to "Dark Blue" getting released on June 24. Written by the guy who wrote LA Confidential, I missed it when it bombed in the theatres (much like LA Confidential).

If you like kinda strange mysteries, check out "Memento" and "Frailty". Both are excellent, especially "Frailty". Army of Darkness - [hail2] Ash Ride with the Devil - highly underrated civil war flick directed by the guy who made "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon."
