DAT recorders are VERY high end pecies of equipment.
They are just better suited for A recording studio that in the home.

Well, I'd much rather be the guy who paid $1100 for a RDIAS in 1996.

(oh wait, I did...)

Just sold one of your customers a preban, hmmm??

If it were not for 'the poor S.O.B's' the economy would be far worse than it is this day.

250$ for a VCR late 80's, that was cheap.

My sister worked at RCA in Indianapolis back in the 80's. She bought us each a laser disc player. The discs, she bought on employee discount when new ones were released for $10 each. I had a huge laser disc collection.

Blues Brothers was on every Sunday morning for many years.

I remember when I was a kid in the early 80's when a VHS movie cost over $80 bucks.

Watched my mother save up over several months to buy one of them.

Its all relevant.

In 15-20 years, iPods will be like little walkman radios today, cheap $20 items.
