This. I got a 30 out of 100. Grew up in a trailer that had a couple of holes in the floor covered with plywood. Sometimes the electricity was cut off or the telephone, I just paid off my student loans last year and didn't have a car until my junior year of college. When I went to college I got a BS in Physics and a BS in Civil Engineering not some bullshit art history or sociology degrees.

I've worked hard my whole life and brought myself up from nothing-so fuck anyone that says I am privileged because I am white.

56/100. The wording of the questions is a fail, especially on anything related to your economic well-being. If you lived in a refrigerator box for the first 40 years or your life, but 2 years ago you finally got off your ass and got a job and now live in an apartment and have enough food to eat, suddenly, according to this, you have 10 extra 'privilege points'. Ridiculous. It's quite common, even 'normal' to start out poor and then over the course of your 20s-30s to get some measure of success in your career that is sufficient to have a decent quality of life. This test doesn't take that poor-to-rich transition (or the reverse) over time into account, at all.

Of course I've been called a fag, asshole, cunt, dick, motherfucker, shithead, fat (by super skinny people), skinny weakling (by my 6'9" 375 lb co worker), etc. But I never took it seriously, as I am a hetero cisgendered devil, have a thick skin, sometimes I deserved it, and other times they were terms of endearment. I think that is my privilege.

In reality though, it's all bullshit. I was sort of poor growing up, worked most of my life, paid for my own college, am not some mental weakling when I face a challenge or insults, am white, hetero, not fat or skinny, traditionally married with wife and kids, etc.

I behave civilly and have a traditional anglo-american outlook on work and life. That is what means I am privileged. I don't go out of my way to be a freak or have drama, or have any mental illnesses. Again, it's all bullshit to make the weak members of our society feel better about themselves. And it's not good for our society.
