The show was pretty good but not enough stuff. The prices were a little higher than a few weeks ago at the Astrohall but that is par for the course.

Was planning on getting a pre-ban M4gery but had difficulty with the $2k price tags on new ones.

Ended up finding an Armalite M15A2. Real nice and feels much lighter than my Colt 20" Match Target. So many guns and so little time...

I was there today between 10:30am - 12:00 noon. Took a friend who was looking for a shotgun. I picked up a couple of ammo cans, a tactical case and a few other trinkets. The gun prices seemed high and the selection was not as good. He didn't get the shotgun. There are a couple of local stores that have better prices.

A Ruger stainless .22/45, five CETME mags, an M14 stock and a couple of holsters. Not my best haul but not bad either.

I went to a show in the Astrohall back in the '80s. It was the largest show I've ever been to. Probably bigger than our 3 largest shows in Illinois. What are the current shows like?

The shows at the Astrohall have about 2000 tables. The one this weekend isn't nearly as large, but it sure ain't small!

I just got back from the show. Some guy had Sanchez 30 rounders w/ green followers for $10. They aren't in the best exterior shape, but hell! For $10, I'll take my chances!

There was also a guy with one of thoe copper-beryllium AR lower and upper assemblies. He wanted $1k for it. Looked kinda sweet, but it was heavy as hell!

Then there were the assholes who insist on charging $50 for a HK91 mag...like they think they are rare or something. I don't know about others, but I bought mine at AIMSurplus for $8 each. In great shape as well.
