I've got one of those turkey fryers with a 10 gal aluminum pot.
Can I get away with using that to boil the wort, or do I need a SS Pot.

Aluminum will work but it better the fuck be clean...Don't want an oily tasting wort
I use a 10 gallon SS pot it having one that big is the shazit.

I have an aluminum one and a stainless one. they both work well. beer is good !

My father brews his in something similar, just make sure its heavily sanitized. As a matter of fact I need to move my blackberry wine batch to a carboy today
