This guy actually made an extremely scale miniature Ferarri, piece by piece! It is COMPLETELY funtional, too!

WAYYYYYYY too much time on his hands....

But, by that same token, I've alway wanted to make a functional subminiature rifle set (ie, a 3" or 4" long AR and AK)... But I doubt that I'll ever have the time, money or tooling resources).

Hopefully when he dies, God will make him really really small so he can drive it.

And to think I feel burned out from being into the 4th year building a model Spanish Galleon! What I admire most is how the guy didn't rush anything in an attempt to get it finished. He just focused on doing the step he was working on to utter perfection until it was all done, and it just took ever how long it took. Few people can do this, trust me!

HE probably would have found it easier to make a full scale model, so he could have driven it.

HOLY SHIT!!!!

I wonder how much that is worth. He may be able to buy a real Ferrari with the money from that. I bet the mileage on that model is great.

Also, could you imagine trying to put all of those parts together with tweezers?

Full scale would be easier.

Ferrari should hire him on the spot.

they're always trying to make things smaller in cars.

Thats amazing. You would have thought he would have atleast given it a radio remote control so he could actually drive it though. Oh well, still amazing none the less.

That kind of dedication, Ferrari would do good to hire him.

If he'd built his car to 1:1 scale, he'd have no problem in that department.  Any other scale = no pie.
