High Tower Armory Hi Point bullpup conversion kit http://www.thefirearmblog.com/blog/2016/10/21/high-tower-announces-new-bullpup-chassis-hi-point-carbine/ Price point between $200-$300. Will be available for .40 S&W, .45 ACP and 9mm Hi-point carbines. Accepts stock single stack Hi-point magazines and hi cap RedBall Sports 20 rnd magazines (9mm only at this time). High Tower states on their FB page that the conversion stock is designed to accept double stack (Glock?) mags which don’t exist to my knowledge for Hi-point Carbines. Disc style safety selector under the trigger as seen on the FN P90 and FN 2000. I am not affiliated with Hi-point or High Tower Armory in anyway. |

Please take glock mags..... View Quote Hi-point Carbines are designed to feed from single stack magazines through the pistol grip. I think a Glock magazine could work in this conversion kit since the issue of magwell width being too narrow has been eliminated. However you might have to modify the bottom of the Hi-points bolt. If High Tower is making the conversion kits magazine well wide enough to accommodate double stack pistol mags that suggests to me they plan to either offer a proprietary double stack magazine of their own or accommodate an existing popular double stack magazine I.e. Glock. |

That does look pretty cool can it be used left handed? The safety on the conversion kit is ambi but ejection port is on the right. They'd be nuts not to add a deflector to the design, or a mount for an optional one. |

Hell, that is kind of interesting! From what I've heard about accuracy, this might be a fun toy.

I see them here all the time here in the Bluegrass but then they are manufactured close by just outside of Cincinatti. If these conversion kits become popular it would be cool if Hi-point offered a stock less gun. The OEM furniture kit is like $65. |

I'm certain this bullpup kit will be featured in some future SyFy TV show.

Hell, I got my 995 for free 100% worth it to have a less disgusting looking gun. But only if it takes mags that aren't garbage

Just got back from shooting my 995TS. I love that little thing. Accurate as all hell and never misses a beat. I will be buying one of these stocks when they come out. I'll sell off my new POS Sub 2K Glock 17 to fund it. Nothing has a more horrible cheek weld than a sub 2k....nothing. Only reason I still have it is Glock mags. If they make this somehow work with Glock mags, KelTec can take the Sub 2k's off the market and concentrate on building something else. Hi-Point 4 life dawg.....

for the love of Christ, can we STOP with the new guns where the top rail doesn't go all the way to the front of the handguard etc.? First the Scorpion and now this. ALL THE WAY TO THE THREADS. Always and forever.

The 10/22 stock rocks and Andy at High Tower Armory rocks as well. The Hi point carbine is the best thing they make. Hope it's a winner!

Hello everyone in AR15-land!!
It's been a long time since I've been on here and for that I apologize. I am here to answer your questions and would be happy to offer anything I am free to release! Here's what we can say so far from our earlier post: 1) Price? --- We are trying to make these as affordable as possible while delivering the same quality people have come to associate with HTA. Our target is to keep the price of the stock between $200-$300. This all depends on demand. The more we interest we generate, the more we know we can sell, the cheaper we can make them. 2) How and when can I get one? --- Please visit our website (HighTowerArmory.com) and sign up for our email newsletter. You can do this by entering in your email in the bottom left corner of our site in the text box. We will email people in the order they signed up alerting them to the release of this product. Those of you who waited for our 90/22 release will know how this process worked. We won't accept any money early, sorry. We can hold your spot in line for free! We are hoping to release these in the first half of 2017 (or sooner). 3) Will this fit 9/40/45? ---- Yes! All 3 will be available in Black, OD Green, and FDE (other colors/dips possible as well). 4) Anything else? ---- More information will follow soon! Prototypes are being evaluated and any final changes will be made soon. Tooling to begin very soon as well. Any other questions can be asked here on Facebook, by phone or email! We'll answer as soon as we can!! 5) Lefty friendly? Yes! We will ensure this is left hand friendly and ambidextrous! Hope that helps guys! More info will be posted as it is available- like our Facebook page for fastest updates! |
