Should I see a podiatrist?  Is this normal or is there something wrong with my toe?

Dip your toes in alcohol and drink some Scotch and kick back. It'll clear that right up.

Please warn us before ever posting something like that again.

It appears to be a fungal infection, but then again I'm not a doctor.  They do sell over the counter fungal stuff, but I've heard soaking in diluted bleach (maybe 1/10) will do it too.

- Got to doctor.
- Show toe.
- Receive prescription for anti-fungal medication(probably Lamisil tablets).
- Take medication.
- After a few months your nail should look normal again.
- Keep your feet clean and dry from then on.

You also need to disinfect your shoes so the fungus doesn't get transfered back to your feet.

Good photo. Ulgy toe though. Vics Vapo Rub applyed 4 times a day will clear that up in about 6 weeks. If you fail to take some kind of action, it will ge worse and spread to your other nails, including your finger nails. A lot of folks won't shake hands with you then! UGLY!

What are you trying to do?  Give thebeekeeper a heart attack?

+1 on some kind of fungus but it's not that bad.

You mean besides your disgusting hygiene habits? Do you walk barefoot behind dairy cows all day or what?
Perhaps next time you go to Rite-Aid you buy a pair of nail clippers, some fungus creme and soap for bathing.

Damn it is time for breakfast and I saw that. I guess I will need to see some naked chick to get me in the eating mood again.

Use a Dremel to clean up those rough edges then apply a nice duarble fushica nailpolish (Rustoleum works good too... suck part is that your color choices are limited).

Why fix the problem when it's easer to hide it I always say..

Looks like typical toe fungus.  You can try putting vicks on it daily and washing your shoes more often.  My cousin and her husband lived with my grandfather for a while and her husband had athletes feet bad and proceeded to give it to my grandfather.  My grandfather ended up with toes very similar and that's how we 'cured' it.  It took for ever. [like nearly a year].

Toenail Fungus. See a Podiatrist. You can use an Topical Medication (Non Prescription) Mycocide (you will have to have the drug store order it for you).

Or you can have an internal medicine prescribed for you. The problem with these, is that they are known to cause liver damage.

I recommend that: (a.) you see a podiatrist, (b.) use a dremel tool to keep the nail sanded down and apply Mycocide to the exterior.
