Do you have any firearms that have only had your reloads (no factory ammo) shot through them?
It occured to me the other day that my Rem. 700 PSS in .308 has never had a factory round fired through it (except for a few at the factory, I guess). Just my handloads. It made me feel a little proud. My 1903A3, while in my posession, has only had my reloads through it. -Dan |

I've never shot factory loads through ANY firearm I own.
I usually have the reloading equipment set up and ammo produced before I've ever even bought the firearm. In fact I'm doing that right now for my "soon to arrive" 50BMG.... ETA: Well me retract that statement a little, I do have HydraShok in my carry 1911. |

I did use one mag of 75 GR match in my Noveske during a rifle league match by accident....
Other than that, it's only been 55 gr FMJ BT reloads with 24.5" gr of AA 2230 with CCI 41 primers. Probably 2K down the tube. Have reloaded about 4K total... on a RCBS single stage |
| I have a S&W 460 Magnum and a Savage/Stevens/A&B 221 Fireball that have never seen factory rounds. I have a Ruger Vaquero in 45 Colt that hasn't seen factory ammo since I have owned it, and I have a Mauser 98 converted to .257 Roberts Ackley Improved that will most likely never see factory ammo. |
