Most are over $200,000 - one of my neighbors has a bright blue one, it's cool - but it's too much Honda Accord/Civic, zzzzz...it's built about 40 miles away from me too.
ETA: Acura drivers are bigger assholes than Audi and BMW drivers too he's wrong about a lot things too, lots of cars have three trunk releases, funnels for emergency gas, new manuals are always in a bag - nothing new here... and the on-screen volume slider, wtf? Here''s Why the 2017 Acura NSX Is Better Than You Think |

Acura... because no one ever paid $156,000 for a f---ing Honda...
I'm sure it's a cool car. Not even remotely in my price range. |
|
Meh....
The new NSX was a giant blunder of epic proportions. If they would have delivered a non hybrid for a starting price under a $100K, they wouldn't have been able to make enough of them. People looking to spend 150-200K on a car have at least one other vehicle so reliability is a moot point for them and at that kind of cash there's a lot of neat options. No one wants to hyper-tech car which has no soul and no really unique for 200K; that's why they're no selling. The Lexus LFA has a similar problem but at least the Lexus isn't trying to be something it's not. For that cash, I'd rather have a Lambo/Ferrari/Ford GT. |
|
If I'm paying 200K for a car, the name had better start with a "F," a "L," or a "M".
And standard equipment had better include a 22 year old smokin hot female. |

That's a beautiful car, but a true-blood sports car should be able to do its job with 1 engine, IMO. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:

We sold 3 of the 4 Nsxs our dealer got. The first one sold for $20k over MSRP. I wouldn't say they are not selling well. We would have sold the 4th already if they sold them at MSRP.

How many of the first gens were sold in the 15 years they made them?

I had the privilege of driving one last week on a track here local. The car is incredible, very quick too. I wish I could afford one.

My main problem with it is that it looks nothing like an NSX. The market it's competing in is another thing, a 2005 NSX was about $90k new, which would be just over $110k today. https://www.cstatic-images.com/stock/900x600/235238.jpg View Quote |

Nice car but for that money there are tens of other cars to go for first
GT3 or McLaren for example actually I'd rather have An R8 v10 plus. Take out the hybrid shit make it look like that, light weight. Decent BHP and sell it for 70k instead. |

Neighbor was project manager on the car. I was the first non Honda person to ride in the prototype. I also got rides in a Mclaren, a few porsches, the mid engine Audi., Ferrari, and a few others. The hybrid drivetrain is the future and the car is awesome at the price point. Compared well with it's much more expensive super car counterparts. And yes, he's a great neighbor. |

as a long time Honda fan i can say they lost their soul after 1999.
its been down hill ever since, sure they are better now, but they feel so ... empty. |

Cool bit of technology, but not exactly something that's going to stir someone's passion. For that much coin, I'll take a Ferrari (actually a Porsche or Vette ZR1 and pocket the difference).
