I have a spot of unusable space in the backyard that is sloped pretty steep and home to a metric ton of ivy. Looking to try to use the space as a vegetable garden, cantilever seating area with a privacy fence.
Looking for ideas.

Build a new wall and back fill it? Maybe a terraced gardening set-up?

I would be careful and have your plans checked that "Ivy" probably prevents erosion.. Making alterations might just start flooding your neighbors property possibly causing a shit storm of drama for you?

All drainage is tied into his, I am not looking to remove the ivy, just use some of the space. I would just install posts for whatever I decide to do and keep the ivy. Raised beds would be one thing to do and also I love the concept of the paint mock up!
